If you have any questions regarding your coverage for Incontinence supplies, please contact us.

Wound Care / Surgical Dressings

We carry many different styles and sizes of wound care supplies.  Many insurance companies require a wound care plan documented by your doctor in order for wound care supplies to be covered.  We will be happy to work with your care team and your insurance company to make sure that your supplies will be covered.

If we do not stock a particular item that you require, we will be happy to special order it for you.  Please contact us with any questions you may have regarding the products you need or your insurance coverage.

FAQs

Q: My doctor wrote me a prescription for an item. Why do you need more documentation?

A: Your doctor has evaluated your condition and prescribed a medical supply item that he or she believes would be beneficial to treating or managing your condition. Most of the time a prescription is not considered sufficient by most insurers to determine the medical necessity of that particular item. Medical supply stores are required to maintain documentation in our files regarding your specific medical condition and subsequent medical necessity. We will review the available documentation to ensure that all applicable criteria have been met and that your supplies will be covered by your insurance.

Q: How soon can I have the supplies? Do you deliver?

A: After Relieve Medical Supply has received and reviewed any required documentation, we can order your supplies (if necessary). Most supplies can be picked up in our store. If you require delivery, there may be a separate charge.

Q: How do I know if my insurance will cover the supplies that my doctor ordered?

A: We will happily verify your insurance coverage for the supplies you need. Please remember that your insurance will not guarantee that your claim will be paid. If your insurance denies payment for an item, you must accept the financial responsibility for the item.

Q: How much will I have to pay?

A: We will verify your co-insurance amount, if any, while we verify your insurance eligibility. We will let you know an estimate of the portion you may be responsible for. Your co-insurance amount will be due at the time you receive the item.

Q: What is your Return Policy?
A: A copy of our Return Policy can be viewed by clicking here.
Q: I like a certain brand. Can I receive the brand I prefer?

A: We can order almost any brand of supply that you request. However, there may be an additional cost that would be your responsibility, depending on your insurance coverage.
